Direct3D 9 Graphical Engine?

Okay so I recently downloaded Arma 2 CO on Steam, I've downloaded DayZ and done everything I am supposed to do to get it to work. Yet when I launch CO through Steam, it says there is an error intializing Direct3D 9 Graphical Engine.

Anyone have any idea what this is and how to fix it?

Your launch options where it refences the beta files is wrong.

-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion

go into your operation arrowhead folder.... C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta

copy arma2oa.exe

go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\

rename the arma2oa.exe that's in there to something else.

paste the arma2oa.exe you copied from the other folder into here.

and lastly, open up your steam games page, goto arma2: operation arrowhead. right click properties, and click on "set launch options" and past this into it;

-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -mod=@Dayz

And when that all dont work. Try to start "Arma II OA Beta Launcher" not through steam! I had the same problem. This was the easiest way to fix it.
