Character still in shock after hours

Recommended Posts

I've been playing the game for over a month now, so I do understand how it all works - but my character has been in shock for ages.

Last night I broke my legs because I glitched in a car, which knocked me out and put me down to 8k health. I've since eaten to full health and been playing for hours, but whenever I disconnect I'm always greeted by the long countdown timer (symptom of shock). Any idea why this is and how I can fix it?

Those unsure of what I mean by shock, look at this

That's nothing.

Once I was knocked out and bleeding north of Pobeda Dam, and stopped bleeding at 540 blood.

Didn't wake up though. Two hours later when my friend finally arrived with an epi-pen I stood up.

It's still a pain that whenever I log in, I'm knocked out for three minutes

Are you disconnecting quite quickly after logging in each time? I think a defensive mechanism was implemented against DC'ers whereby if anyone DC's several times in relatively short succession you would be in shock for a few minutes upon logging back in again.

It happened to me after I disconnected from a couple of really laggy servers in a row to try and find one that wasn't lagging.

Only thing I can think of for your predicament.

Take damage some how. Have a friend shoot you with a weapon that won't kill you. Take damage from a zombie. Anything. Then patch yourself up and wait 3 minutes. Log out and then log in.
