Server not saving position on map

Not entirely sure if this belongs in this part of the forum but a friend and i have been consistently getting spawned in start spawn areas when we have saved and logged out inland with gear.

Essentially each day we leave the game logged out in a certain area then log in the next day and we are spawned back at the starter areas along the coast, away from each other but still with all the same gear/stats.

Its really frustrating having to walk all the way to meet up and head back inland each day, especially as we are trying to head far inland and check out some of the awesome areas there and kind of breaks the persistent feel of the game.

Anyone having this issue as well?

probably means they'd had a database issue and had to reset everyone's location.

It sucks when it happens, but these types of things are sometimes unavoidable with an alpha.
