Just been Killed but.........

Yesterday I had my usual daily dose of the Mod, I was hatcheted to pieces like a block of plank, so I left the server as I was deaded.

Today, looking forward to starting over I logged onto a usual U.K server and my character is alive and well, he was though in a position further North than when I was killed, all Kit and Weapons?!?!?!?!

Is this a common issue? Kinda missing the point?

So you alt-f4'd as you died? Or did you abort when the "You are dead" screen came up?

I dont do the F4'D thing as i don't pussy out, I did say i was dead!!

Yes i may have aborted (Frustration after being chopped up) when i died to play the day after. If i abort when dead i do it to get back to the main menu to exit, does this cause my character to still be alive the day after?

It has happened a few times, once i created a new profile player due to a issue and then i had 2 different characters when logging in (one after the other)
