seriously though wouldnt it be cool to store stuff in boxes.

Whats the point of a tent if you cant sleep in it.

Whats the point of boxes if you can already store stuff in tents and vehicles. Tents and vehicles are fairly easy to spot if you happen to stumble upon them. Boxes are smaller than tents so for players they are harder to find in forests. This would make it easier for players to have hidden stashes wich of course is more realistic but also affects the gameplay imho negative way so I have to disagree. I love finding vehicles full of stuff and with your idea people wouldn't store stuff in them.

Why not be able to save a back pack, this way if you go into a place you feel you may not come out off you can drop your pack save it and then go it.

Of course some rules, one back pack can be saved on the account, and the backpack when saved will last 24 hours and can be picked up by anyone. To me thats a better way to go.

cardboard boxes would not work because you could only store them inside. maybe when we have the ability to build our own roofs. but otherwise the rain would just ruin the box, and my meat would be all soggy..
