We are testing the new patch, and if it's buggy, then be will backroll to the previous one till it's fixed.

We are not a bunch of dickheads, I care little for loot or even death.

Each new patch, we lock the server to make sure stuff works.

@ Devs / Forum admins:

If we are not allowed to make sure our server works befor reopening it to the public, just tell me and we will just keep it open all the time, and too bad if people lose stuff because of a glitched patch.

Btw ... I am paying 40 euros for this server so that YOU guys can play FOR FREE ... ungreatfull kids.

So if I can not administer my own server and make sure it is safe to play on, then this Mod is just going to go down hill.

EDIT:

For your information, We have found 1 glitch on the server:

- Some items have dissapeared and others have been duplicated for an unidentified reason.

So if you are dead / lost all your gear or any other bad thing that I truly wish has happend to you, then to Effing bad, you deserve it.

Server owner's reaction is just ridiculous. Calling names in the report thread, whining about "ungratefull" kids... Like somebody cares that he wasted his money to farm some gear\vehicles on "his own" server.

I can click respawn now, I don't care at all about my gear, all I need to kill someone is an Enfield, the rest is just "luxury" ... On the other hand I bet some people would not enjoy getting killed for fun.

Yeah I call him a dipshit cause he has 3 posts on the forum, and all he does is report people.

I am a fair admin, have never banned anyone, and do not kick people who kill me (as you can see in the video).

And it's true, you people are just a bunch of ungreatfull kids, all you do is complain that admins kick you, ban you, abuse and stuff ...

And there you are, reporting people cause thay are looking for glitches, glitches I have found, but ok, don't care anymore the server will remain open, if you lose your stuff after joining my server next patch it's your fault.

People like you ruin the community, trying to "punish" the very people who allow you to play for free.

Our group was searching for a server to start playing and found yours in the browser list. There were no accusations made, just a question with proof. But thanks to your hostile replies, P5yk0HD - we will surely divert our eyes to non-butthurt-admin server.

We would not be "butthurt Admins" if the community was not constantly out to punish people who are giving them the possibility to play for free and on SAFE servers.

Everyone always answers "well no one is forcing you to pay for the server", exactly, we are offering this service to everyone ... and all we get in return is accusation after accusation. The day will come when all Admins will be sick of all this, and remove their servers, and believe me, that day, th butthurt will not be the Admins.

I found 2 glitches, and honnestly will enjoy watching people cry because thay lost everything.

I really didn't know that trying our best to provide safe servers for you to play on for free was a crime.

The issue is that that the rules that have been put forth by the Devs do not allow for you to lock your server. You need to take it up with them.

I agree though that the juvenile behavior of instantly running to the forums to report a server is crazy. Its not like there are not thousands of other servers to choose from.

I'm with you, as a server admin we have to follow rules that favor the hackers/cheaters. You take a chance every time you kick/ban someone for stuff. If you are willing to take the chance.then more power to you.

I will be more than happy to not lock my server if the Devs would give fully working and non glitched patches ...

Issue is that thay are not 100% reliable, this is an Alpha, and I am participating in that alpha by looking for those glitches that will allow the Game to go forward.

By locking my server, the only people put at risk of losing "precious loot" is me and my team, I said it once and will say it again, I do not care about gear, all I need is an Enfield to kill. By locking my server, other players do not risk loosing their loot that thay seem to be so butthurt about.

And it really makes me angry to see people get out there with only 3 posts on the forum, one of them being a Server report, trying to get servers blacklisted.

I know there are abusers, admins who totally abuse their powers by kicking / banning people who kill them, I understand, but don't let a few rotten apples damage the image for all the other fair admins.

So honnestly, quit trying to get the very servers that allow you to play for free, blacklisted.

Edit: You will end up not having any server to play on, as Admins will be too scared of losing their server cause some twat reported them for the most idiotic reason possible.

Don't get me wrong, there will always be some servers. Many of which are put up by folks just willing to hit the start button and apply a patch now and then and who could care less what hackers, scripters and otherwise self entitled punks do on their box. I'm sure quite a few either don't know, or don't care that there are forums here for servers for people to ask questions and point out issues. Those boxes just chug along oblivious to any issues

There are others who try and monitor their servers, respond to community requests to look at potential issues, ban those that need it and respond to requests to reverse bans when a mistake is made. They are involved and wish to provide a safe, as hacker free area as possible to play in.

The outrage from a vocal part of the player base, pointing fingers each time a box restarts or something happens to their tent, throwing up posts about the Admin must have been the one that teleported me, hacked a helo, stole my tent and the like, is driving those away that want to run a decnet server....

I highly doubt the end state of this game will be player owned servers connected to a hive server, and we know it won't be ARMA2 engine based with ARMA3 on the horizon. The 3000+ admins out there (none of which are named Rocket) are coughing up approx $120k a month total to keep this experiment going. Cut them some slack as they deal with the issues that pop up with each new patch. You want a decent pace to play with minimal interupt from hackers? That takes some efforts of the 2999 admins in support of the 700,000 players.

Is it that much of an issue to go play on another server if you don't like what's being done on the one you are on?

Might some of the admins be farming? Sure, just like some of the players may be scripting.

Might they get the good gear? Sure, but last I looked I can get a CZ in many barns that will kill you just the same. What's the chance that some admin farming gear is going to find you with that gear on the 1000's of other clean servers out there? I bet lower than the chance of a random hacker spawning in, blowing you up and lolz to the chat....

edit: you waste the dayz employees time with this crap, what they should be doing is reviewing real problems and complaints like things revolving around scripters and bug reports. There are plenty of servers out there, find another.
