azunai 32 Posted July 20, 2012 How about adding to the HIVE.dll a check for whitelisted items before it gets written/read from the hive ?if an illegal item was found, kick that playereven if they spawn a new weapon on your server they would get kicked out right at the next sync!or change the global hive DB to only acceppt DayZ items, can be done by structure or filter (but i guess filter is no option cause of additional stress)just my beans..
azunai 32 Posted July 21, 2012 or just grab that anti cheat code from Sanctuary v2.3.2 , which is the private hive version of DayZeither way its a small change and done in minutes but is realy effective :/
Remscar 5 Posted July 26, 2012 I'm surprised HIVE doesn't use a whitelist currently. However from what i understand HIVE is having major sections re-written to support threading, an update to accomplish something similar to this may have also been planned, or is in the planning with rocket's anti cheat.
