Having issues with dayz version.

Is anyone else having issues with the actual dayz version not the beta patch version? I seem to always be able to join 1.62 servers and rarely 1.61 (bad version error) servers and it is getting really annoying. Now I do not only have to worry about what beta patch version but also dayz version as every bloody server has a mix between 2-3 version types. Does anyone know what version is most stable at the moment and is there any way to manually install that version?
