Teleporting Hacker on US207

Time: 11PM - 1AM EST

Summary:

After several hours of deaths and close calls a group of 10 of us were finally able to meet up just east of Dolina. Three of us, including myself, went straight to the nearby pond to refill water bottles. The other seven of the group moved to the hills just north of the pond, not more than 200-300m away. As soon as the three of us reached the water, a guy in a ghillie suit "loads in" (or possibly teleported) to our immediate proximity at the pond and mows down all three of us. As you may imagine all Hell broke loose over Vent. :o

This hacker was then able to systematically teleport behind different members of our group and take them out with a headshot or a quick spray. He was lightning quick with hopping from person to person. When only two or three of our lesser armed groupmates were remaining, the hacker started to lose connection. The server message popped up reading "Beastmode is losing connection". He must've been completely desynced, as one of my groupmates claimed to have seen him running in place.

Beastmode's connection smoothed out a few seconds later, and he had killed all the remaining members of our group during his desync. We strongly felt that Beastmode was most likely the culprit and spammed the vote kick option as if each click gave out free candy. Well, ol' Beastmode didn't think too highly of this gesture so as the different members of our group spawned back in he teleported around like mad, killing nearly every player in the server within a few short moments.

Within five minutes or so a server nearly full of 40 players dropped to only a handful. I stuck it out while other members of my group gave up, some in frustration, others in disappointment. As the server emptied out and the number of votes piled against him, he dropped out and ran off to presumably terrorize some other server. I ran back to where my body was and I guess the punk had enough time to hide all the corpses while he was at it. <_<

I hope this provides sufficient information for the matter to be reviewed. Some of our group were playing for the first time and were left with a bad first impression of DayZ. (Hopefully tomorrow will change that). While most of us may have to put in a fistful of more hours to get our stuff back, we hope that some justice can be dealt. Thanks in advance. :thumbsup:
