keep getting booted to the server selection screen when I try load a game

So I keep trying to load a game from a server but when my computer loads about 85% of the game it stops loading and I end back at the brown server selection screen. I have no idea what the problem is because I followed all the instructions on how to install the mod properly. I am new to the game but haven't even been able to play it yet because of this problem. I have tried reloading and extracting the mod files but this doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know what is causing this problem?

What is the game version number. Its shown on screen while the main menu is up. Needs to be 1.60 at minimum.

I just got the game from steam and have the same issue my game ver is 1.60.87580.

help my out

the loading screen will get to something like 90% (receiving data) loading bar then it just kicks me back to server list... I don't think i get an error msg
