Game crashes when receiving data.

Started the game for the first time and joined a server. Got to the option of choosing a male or female character when BE decided it wasn't installed/correct and booted me from the server. Managed to get that fixed but now when "Receiving data" I get to about 95% and the game crashes to windows.

I've been trying a bunch of different things over the last week (ie. re-install, trying previous beta patches etc.)

I'm left with the impression that my character got ripped a new one in the creation/crash and thus won't let me load into the game.

Any ideas?

i had the same problem, manually downgrade your beta patch to 95045. Close down steam completely make sure it not in task manager then run it as admin.

95054 and 94945 were being problematic for me so I was running 94876. I've noticed that 95168 is up and gave it a run. Seems to have worked.
