Prime72 2 Posted July 20, 2012 3 Buddies and I dropped into Elektro on this server. Got pinned down by a sniper and was having a great time trying to survive. As we flanked the snipers suddenly all our gear went missing and we all had hatchets. The Snipers retained their guns. 30seconds after that, over 30 people on the server were insta killed by the admin. Looking for an explanation as to why I just lost a day3 survivor with over 150 zombie kills and 33 murders.-Prime Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

(which it sounds like he's already on top of it). Time stamps, descriptions of who died are all helpful. I wish you luck in getting them branden. Myself and the clan I'm in have been frequenting that server for about a week now, and while there have been a few hackers that have ruined some playtime, everything has been smooth. There was a sudden mass of deaths messages all at the same time. I was honestly too pissed to get a time but I would say it was about 10minutes before my intitial post if that helps the admin at all. so roughly 11:20-25pm Central Time. To give credit where it's due. I'm still exploring servers and was highly impressed with the zero lag and seemingly perfect server performance before the issue that arose. It was an unreasonable conclusion on my part. I was left with a bitter taste as it's the first time I've witnessed some sort of major issue with DayZ besides the occasional "bug" or what have you.It would be nice, once it's all investigated to get an answer as to what actually happened. I know that can't be easy with 45+ people rocking out.Rest assured we will continue to investigate the issue and continue to ban GUID's as necessary.To the guy who was recording when it happened- as soon as our group lost our equipment we D/C'd immediately and joined another server and confirmed our gear had returned. Nerve-racking experience for everyone involved last night.You should join our TeamSpeak server, we have a couple of public channels and are willing to answer any questions or investigate any issues our players have.I'll update this thread as necessary once Aden has had a chance to take a look at the log files as well. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
