Steam Arma and Retail DLC

Make sure your oa is patched to 1.60 by running oa without mods. Exit out. Patch if required. Copy the addons folder from arma2 into the oa install dir. Add non-steam game in steam library. Point it to the arma2oa.exe. Edit the shortcut target to contain -mod=CA;@DayZ. Also, you can just create shortcut on the arma2oa.exe and use that to launch without steam.

If you have both games on Steam retail you may launch if by right clicking Operation Arrowhead and selecting Launch as Combined Operations. If you have another retail + steam retail there is guides out there on how to deal with this.
