Figured this belonged in the bandit area, as I fucked these guys camp up and took some of their shit.

Still got 2 pipe bombs left, any suggestions on what to do with them? I was considering just placing one in the cherno hospital area and waiting for someone to walk over it.

They were in some dudes tent, 3 of them. I heard they dropped from barracks, didn't think much of it.

Cant say I've ever heard of any pipe bombs or c4 in DayZ so best to eyre on the safe side and throw them away or just drop them in the middle of nowhere and dont look back. Just make sure if you do happen to throw them away, make sure not to kill anyone or destroy anything otherwise you could be looking at some trouble for, quote "using a hacked weapon which is unfair and against the rules, this guy should be banned for life" from alot of people

Yeah, I'm still researching around, as my friend that was with me when we found them said they were a rare barracks spawn, but I'm not finding anything on the wiki or anything, about to toss them in the dam thats up north.

If you use the dayz loot map, it lists pipebombs at the barracks. Maybe they used to be In the game.

Pipe bomb/satchel charge is in the game. I've found them at the barracks before on more than one occasion. One time I was playing with a group who were loot cycling the barracks when I joined up with them, and after taking everything out, we had one show up on the next spawn. So, thats how I know there in the game. They are just extremely rare to my knowledge. PS: I myself don't loot cycle. My squad doesn't need to do it.

Thanks for the input decided to check the thread one more time before I tossed them, I guess enough people have told me they do spawn I'm not going to chunk 'em. Got any neat ideas of what to do with them?

Well if they do exist then well played to you good sir, go find a camp or just set one in a high loot area (NWAF, SSMC, balota airbase etc.)
