ANZ6 Server Details/Issues

Hi All,

I'm the host of ANZ6 - thought I better create a thread in-case any one has any troubles or questions.

The server is set to veteran mode, with 3rd person disabled.

Some basic server rules:

1) No mic on side channel/global - you will only be warned once.

2) No excessive swearing/abuse/derogatory comments.

3) Do not connection spam (only time you should abort is if you get placed in debug forest - otherwise just wait).

4) Keep general chat to a minimum in side channel during peak periods (this includes chat about server settings, game updates, bugs etc)

During the week, the server will be running 25 slots - on the weekends it will be moved to 40 slots. This is due to the amount of bandwidth.

If the server crashes and I am on-line, I will lock the server until the game loads - then it will be unlocked when everyone has spawned. This allows everyone to get back in the game a lot faster.

If you run into any one breaking the rules or being a general pain in the ass for other players - please get screenshots and dates/times so I can investigate. If you have no evidence of misbehaviour then I cannot action it.

I am currently paying for this server off my own back, so any donations will be welcomed. As the current limitation is bandwidth (not hardware), all donations will go towards buying more bandwidth and opening more slots. (I could be hosting 2 x 40 slots)

EDIT: I also have a mumble server running for those that would like to join:

Grab the client from here: http://mumble.sourceforge.net/

Run the set-up, configure your microphone and then connect to 180.92.199.126 on the default mumble port.

Please use push to talk or have a mutable microphone if you are not - we don't need to hear your TV/loved ones in the background :)
