MikeM27 4 Posted July 20, 2012 Well today me and a couple of my friends were playing on our "Home Server" where we have a large camp with tons of stuff we have collected. Anyway, we stumbled across a blue Ural just down the road from our camp and we tried fixing it up and driving it away. The thing is, it was stuck to the building that it was by and it couldn't be moved. Well after about 15 minutes of us messing with this truck, a Huey comes in out of nowhere. The people in the chopper all had Ghillies and decked out head to toe (I managed to kill one out and steal his AS-50 and NVGs and stuff). Before I was able to shoot one out, they flew over and saw we were next to the truck then suddenly the vehicle disappeared and the gunner started to shoot infected around me (Still don't understand why). Well as any person would, they would be scared when they were starting down the barrel of an M240 on a Huey and would shoot, as I did. Then I tried to hit the pilot but bullets didn't penetrate.And now to the point, can hackers despawn vehicles at will. Also the server restarted not long after that and now has not restarted for a few hours like it does normally so we can get our gear back. Also if the server gets restarted but doesn't re-restart then could that mean that they were trying to make the server 'fresh' I guess you could put it? But I am not trying to be a noob and I have looked into this enough to know that most people who come in with a Huey and decked out with Ghillies and what not are usually hackers. Still don't know if they were officially but it appeared that way. Also I tried looking for things like this but wasn't successful. So please if this is a repeat then just point me to the forum post and not tell me to go look for myself, because I did. Thanks everyone :)P.S. I wanted to take a screenshot but didn't have anything to do it with. Also the clan name in front of their names was [GM]. So if you see this clan, try to stay away, they appear, from what I saw to be hackers, or they have just been alive and very lucky for a long time. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mourek 40 Posted July 20, 2012 (edited) There's a strange bug where vehicles despawn when they are critically damaged, even before exploding. happened to me many times, and the URAL you found was probably getting damaged constantly when you tried to move it from it's glitched position.
