What will happen will I still have all of my equipment if I leave to another server ?

Yes your status is saved when you leave the game, at least for your inventory, tents are server sided, not sure about vehicles...

Clans can use this as a way of equipping camps. Members go out and collect gear, change server and take it back to camp.

Careful that you don't connect to a Hive server at any time or others that use their own database rather than the main one - it will appear that you've lost your equipment.

One thing to notice is that there are official and private servers. Playing on official servers (connected to the DayZ hive) means your character will be saved across all the other official servers.

Playing on a private server means your character will only be saved in that server, making you stuck there.

I thought for a server to be listed in SIx or the in game server list they had to be official and must support the backend DB to be official?

The sad story about this was I that I had an AK, 5 Magazines.... And I got killed because I got caught eating icecream behind a church lol!!!!!

So in a way you can technically go to a sever that isn't as populated, the right server version and then obvious with less players in the server less of the stuff is still just laying around waiting to get picked up. So in a way they can pick up as much as they can find in w.e amount of time they got and then hope over servers? Sounds like a scam if its possible

It's called server hopping. Lots of people do it but it's considered cheating. Not much you can do about it except be extremely careful looting high value areas because you never know when a server hopper will suddenly appear. It works both ways tho, I loot places with friends and we cover the rooms while looting, caught a few hoppers out this was and looted some nice gear off them.
