Yo,

So I've shot a couple of people, survivors, bandits etc, by now I've seen quite a few just disappear after them falling over dead, and hearing the brief confirmation of flies (rapacious little bastards aren't they).

Now, I would've liked to get my hands on their stuff, and I assume that the ALT-F4 on death is their last respite to prevent me from getting my hands on their stuff.

My questions are:

- What happens when they do that - Do they remain alive on their next login, or are they actually dead?

- If they manage to disconnect just before the death screen, but after reaching 0 blood, what happens to them?

- Did they actually just save themselves? Their virtual life, not their souls of course.

If they manage to log out before the HIVE save, they wont be dead.

It also prevents you from looting them as their corpse falls into the ground. So just a dick move really.
