Mister Christopher 0 Posted July 19, 2012 Im new at the game (and apparently suck) and i spent a lot of time crawling around towns thrying not to be spotted by zombies. When they do see me, i have to spend the whole "getting up" animation being hit by the zombie, until i start moving and he's right on my tail untill i find some building or hill. What irks me about this is how i am completely helpless against just one zombie. Thus, i think that you should be able to sort of shove the zombie away and make them stumble while you can get away (or rather, a head start). I mean, from the standpoint of this being realistic, are you going to stand there like a man while a zombie chows down on your shoulder? If so, you should seek help.At this point in the game the zombies are a bit too jumpy and glitchy to do this properly, but its something i would like to see implimented in the future. FDFj 28 Posted July 19, 2012 the problem is arma engine, where every action you do requires you to stay still, I would love to see a bit more seamless movement..
GoTo2k 12 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) I would really like to see this implemented. Maybe it would be possible to give the player some kind of invisible weapon. It could be added to the toolbelt since there are always some unused slots. The shoving could work similar to the hatched and make the zombies fall to the ground or stand still for a short amount of time. To select the "Shove-Weapon" you would cycle through your toolbelt with the "F" key.For the falling to the ground the "unconcious"-animation could be usedYou could even use the weapon to rob other players. Just some shoves and theyre unable to move for a very short time... oh, the options... :D Edited July 24, 2012 by GoTo2k
