so since he "didnt have to walk in" then in return you guys didnt have to shoot seeing as you had the upper hand. as i mentioned in my first post i dont condone what he did and think it is stupid. what im getting at is if youre gonna go after him cause it effected you then you need to go out and defend all those that glitching has screwed over aswell. ive been killed like that where in NWAF i crept up on a guy in the barracks and waited for him to come out but he server hopped i went in to loot and he came back on outside the building and killed me for a rare weapon i had. but you dont see me crying on the forums cause its a game and there just isnt enough staff to manage this issue.

its a well known issue as jroc pointed out in his original post being said by rocket. if you want something done well start getting into the programming and help rocket out. otherwise get over it cause goin on a witch hunt isnt gonna solve a damn thing and just shed even more bad light onto the game.

Okay, I'm going to jump in here. I don't speak for everyone in that group that night, I am speaking for myself.

The reason why I agree with it being posted on the reddit, and on these forums and on DoA forums is for two reasons. First, because he is a clan admin. Second, because he is a server admin. In being both of those you accept responsibility that you are supposed to set an example for your community. The admin sets an example that everyone is able to see, and if the admin of that server is saying that it's just a dirty tactic to use ghosting, he's not a very good example for anyone in the clan and the server. It doesn't bother you one bit that, that guy is your clan leader and he's condoning cheating to try and win a game that is about survival? This isn't Grand Theft Auto, where you spawn weapons when you die in a cheat to get everything back. It's played as a simulator, trust me IF we decided to run off because we couldn't see him for 1 minute while one of our buddies was being shot and killed and we lost that AS50 it wouldn't have mattered.. We aren't exactly that bad off in game, we're doing alright weapon wise. The point is, there was ONE person shooting and one person only.. There were 7 of us, why would that group even decide to leave? Now if that one person had legitimately, without ghosting, killed 2 or 3 of our guys you bet your ass we would be out of there and cut losses with the weapons, but why would we leave when a dude is ghosting and unless he ghosts all 7 of us and kills all of us we can get all of our loot back? To the person saying don't be attached emotionally to you're loot, we're not. We were playing reckless, the only reason we wanted him killed was because of the fact he was cheating.

I won't reply again, because it's obvious that asses will be kissed and it will start a flame war further than it already has.

tl;dr - He's a clan and server admin, they are supposed to set examples for their community. He doesn't set a positive example, and should not be allowed to be put in a position where he can negatively influence others and make them think it's okay to do that and make the problem worse than it already is because he is a clan and server admin.

i see your point in how a clan leader/admin needs to set an example. but the thing about our clan is there is no set clan leader and only reason why he has admin is cause hes the one paying for it. in dayz there really isnt anything you can do admin wise. kick, ban, change map, give yourself loot, or anything since its all written out of dayz (i believe not 100% sure). the only thing he can do is restart the server. he doesnt even do that anymore since he has it automatically restart every 8 hours anyways. so to try and use the "your clan leader is making you look bad" isnt much of a point as you would hope seeing as there is no clan leader. though yes it does make us look bad since he wears the tags and is probably on the server more than the rest of us.
