MaskedBaboon 1 Posted July 19, 2012 Hey! Fairly new to DayZ here. Me and my friend are finally to the point where we are ready to setup a camp. We both found tents in various shopping malls and were wondering if anyone has any advice on what items to store in them, any bugs we need to be aware of, and also any important steps we should take before placing items in the tents or whatever.Thanks in advance! Mr_8o8 2 Posted July 19, 2012 Cheers for the link,It's still not 100% clear to me, it says...Tents disappear some days after you have died; you can make a new tent after your death or reclaim items from the existing one, however you cannot take it even if you own it. In 1.7 it tents will last as long as someone places/removes items once every 7 daysso, will i need to find a new tent to move my stuff into..orif I click save or put soemthing into my or anyones tent, it'l 'reset' the 7 day timer? MaskedBaboon 1 Posted July 19, 2012 I think if you die, you need to find a new tent to place if you want to be able to MOVE your tent. If you want to leave your tents where they are, then you don't have to worry about finding a new one as you can place/remove items to keep the timer resetting so they dont disappear. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
