turning off cross hairs and names on a server

im not sure if this is where to post but i have tried everything to do this and cant find anything about it my server has only been up a few days but i really want to turn this off any help would be amazing..

The file you're looking for is: cfgdayz\Users\cfgdayz\cfgdayz.ArmA2OAProfile

Now go to the diffeculty setting you're using and edit:

weaponCursor = 0;

enemyTag = 0;

friendlyTag = 0;

And enjoy.

Not a server host but I'm guessing the server would need restarting.

Have you restarted it since changing anything?

In your server.cfg in the Missions class at the bottom, make sure you change the difficulty to reflect the difficulty settings you're looking to use.



class DayZ {
template = dayz_xxx.Chernarus;
difficulty = "Veteran";
};

yep it has to be off to just change things and i have been restarting every 6 hours anyway

i got it thank you i did not know it had to be set to veteran thank you so much now my range finder is usefull as a spotter
