BETA Patch with CD Key Error

Hey All,

After only learning about Day Z less than 4 weeks ago, am absolutely ecstatic with it. However, when the recent update came out. I became highly confused. I've tried following all the guides however every time i try update the patch i get the WRONG CD KEY error. Can someone please refer me to a dummies guide as i must be CLEARLY missing something. Myself and 6 others are dying to play again. Can someone please lend a hand to a new player.

Ignore it, mine popped up with wrong CD key which made me giggle.. Patched successfully and loaded the game via bat file, worked fine.

Try opening as admin aswel.

Well the funny thing is, when it pops up with the wrong cd key error, it does so twice then Nothing?

Everyone gets this error while trying to update. No big deal.

It works, almost everyone gets it!

if it poppes up twice just do it again and it probably does it once and continues the installation

Okay so I did a little more research and did the whole verify from steam jargon, however now when I go to launch a game, " Bad serial number given in set-up" am I missing something because i seem to be chasing my tail around.

PS. I have run steam as admin, ran both ARMA 2 and Arma 2 OA both first. and verified the Game Cache.... still nothing... Please help guys
