This is probably one of the most highly suggested topics in the forums. From what I understand, Rocket is aware of the frustration of such an unforgiving miss-click and is working on your exact suggestion. Personally though, I think that if Rocket does add a confirmation window, it'll ruin DayZ's unforgiving nature of: "too bad fuck you".

DayZ is about making mistakes and learning from them. It's a good life lesson really. :)
