Zombie Spawn Frewuency

Recommended Posts

Since 1.5.7 the number of zombies has been great and much harder, i support this. The only thing I would change is the rate that they respawn after dying and to check for players in close proximity when respawning ( < 100m). In Outlying areas (barns sheds, single houses, etc) I've killed 6-7 zombies on the way into a barn, and then another 2 or 3 on my way out that had spawned when i was inside. I don't linger, either. Part of deciding on whether or not to raid a place is the number of zombies vs. potential loot. I've also had zombies spawn right in front of me, under 40m away before. It sort of cheapens the experience for me to watch them just respawn like left 4 dead. I like the feeling of taking the high ground, surveying the target, and then moving in after dispatching the former residents, Knowing exactly how much ammo it will take etc etc. It's a big part of the game.

The large towns like cherno and elektro should keep the current spawn times simulating larger infected populations and hidden zombies while roadside houses, barns, etc should have a longer spawning interval (for both loot and zombies) with fewer total zombies.

Just my suggestion. i think it will add a lot to the experience to remove the visible re-spawning.
