Character bound to server?

Hi guys, I hope you can help me out here:

Situation: My character seems to be bound to a specific (public, battleeye enabled) server. If I join other servers I get the character creation screen and need to make a new character. After dying with this character I still get a new one. The "stuck" one is still alive and if I join the original server again I can play it.

Any ideas on this?

P.S.: I tried to search the forum for similar problems, but didn't find any. If it's for my lack of search skills I'm very sorry and would be glad if someone could point me in the right direction.

Yet again, seems like it is a situation where the one server isn't correctly on the HIVE network. I'd suggest making a new character on a different server and seeing if that one can transfer easily. If so, then you need a new home server :(

Funny thing is that the character of a friend of mine is transferring to other servers perfectly. We play on the one server where my character is stuck and he can play the character on any server ;(

Weird. Not sure then man. Might be something silly to do with the recent updates but can never really tell.

I had a hard time getting the character to where he is now and I'm "okay" with any ingame death caused by whatever but leaving the character just there seems a little bit hard ...

maybe I could try a workaround: Create a character on another server and place it on the same spot as the stuck one. Get my buddy to pick up my stuff from the stuck character, let him log on to the server with my new character and give the equipment back to me ... this could work :D
