Vehicles are limited per server. So if someone repaired and took the chopper from its spawn then if wont respawn till it's destroyed or no one has interacted with it for a set amount of time. That's my belief.

while true, choppers are currently not in Day Z, they were heavily bugged at best rendering them nigh unoperatable, to the worse, outright killing players attempting to use them. they were removed from the game until they get fixed, there is no known ETA for their return.

Tbh they are all any players want back. And tbh i think the Synching issue is like 99% fixed now.

Anders said they are working on removing the radar so they can be put back in.

I can't wait to have a heli for our clan.

The heli in the game is now what will keep this game exciting, I'm over collecting beans and killing zombies, more interested in finding, fixing and flying the chopper to find other camps and raid high loot points. The heli gives players a goal to set out to achieve, without it it gets boring.vehicles are fun but that elusive chopper is the pinnacle.

The bugged chopper is kinda a blessing in disguise as it allows it to crash, respawn then allow others to find it and have a go.

This game will soon turn into protect te chopper if you have it or find, destroy or steal it if you don't. I see some good clans being formed and some heated battles during this process.......mmmmmm know where to hide it..........maybe we need to introduce a camo tent in the loot to cover vehicles...

We want the chopper! When do we want it? ....... NOW!

The heli was removed because it had a radar where you saw all the vehicles and tents on it, once rocket removes the radar they're gonna add them back in. Might be next patch actually.

Great, still can see the tents easy without the radar, just need to look a little harder for vehicles although without the radar hiding the bikes and ATVs will be easier

On the live interview Rocket did "hint" it could be in the patch coming soon as he wants to try get them back in!
