How do I get a nvg

Im at nw airfield and looting the barracks. I changed servers at least 20 times and I did not find nvg. Do you guys have any tips ?

2 ways... kill a player and loot the corpse, that worked for me twice. Also found them in other players camps.

They spawn in military builsings and tents like the military camp at stary sobor, the NW airfield and even super rarely in deer stands but taking them from another player is usually the quickest way.

You can go to a place they spawn, check it, log out, log into another server, check, log out... repeat until you find them.

Pfft, server hopping. Would probably be easier and faster just clearing the loot and waiting for it too respawn, but you still need to be very lucky,

I've only seen them once and that was from another player, never found any in the barracks or a crash site.

Fastest way is to join a good team. I'm sitting on half a dozen nvgs spread out across a few servers, and that's just my personal stash. :D

I'll tell you what to do which is WAY better. It has the same chance just as probily server hopping. Just sit and close all the doors in a baraks and camp one door. Shoot anyone that comes in and cycle through loot every time to respawn new. This way you get new loot each time and you get people coming in to a popular place and getting killed with good gear or bad gear. DEPENDs. but this is better than server hopping anyways.

Because Rocket has said server hopping is considered an exploit, you basically just admitted to exploiting on a public form

There is a very very low chance of finding them in the Barracks. Crashed helis is higher, but the best way is simply to kill bandits and take their NVGs. I suggest heading north and finding the more experienced players to kill and steal their stuff. Mind you I killed a dude in Cherno who had NVGs and an LMG on him so you never know how far south people will go with their NVGs

It's all good. There are lots of methods right now to prevent server hopping. I am sure you have noticed sometimes there is no loot in barracks or when you log out your items disappear.

This is to discourage those activities and people from disconnecting to avoid combat or server hopping.

I would suggest getting a group of friends and finding a home server you like and have some fun.

i've should have found atleast 5 ghille suits, but all of them get taken because of someone who logs in, checks all the tents in stary, then logs off when they find what they want.

i shot at one and they just ALT + F4 out of the game.

Honestly at this point im ready to camp the barracks on a low pop server to wait for people like you.

If you want NVG's then i suggest looking for heli crashes, i found 2 at 1 site before.

I can see server hoping for death dodging or ghosting, that crap is just lame. But if I do my normal route of stary, then south barracks then north barracks, then switch servers and reverse I wonder if thats still considered exploiting.

Had a guy when I was in south with 2 friends, hopped in killed 1 then hopped out. Then again a minute later and got the other friend, the 3rd time he came for me I was waiting for him and I put 4 5.56 rounds into him and he never came back. I hope he just logged in unconsious and bled to death whichever server he ended up in.

Ghillie suits spawn in residential loot piles (unless 1.7.2.3 changed this), I have found them in various high loot locations in Cherno and Elektro
