Lag spikes while playing DayZ

Since the last patch I now lag while playing DayZ. It's not because of my computer because nothing has changed and I've been playing DayZ for a while now. But I seem to now be getting lag spikes ever 2 seconds the game will briefly freeze the run smooth and it will repeat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem here, I have tried reinstalling everything, updated everything and it still persists. Also I can't reinstall battle eye on steam. Would really like some feedback on these issues.

Ok I think I got it for now. If you are running off of wireless connection switch to a LAN line. Worked for me:) of course it's the last thing I try but whatever

I'm experiencing the exact same problem. it seems that if you're running the game through Steam that is the problem (it's plastered all over the internet).

I recently had Steam automatically update my Arma files earlier and now it's having lag spikes (which wasn't happening before the update).

I'll try later on to see if running it WITHOUT Steam fixes this issue.
