Dayz mod folder will block my Single Player Mode

So, since 1.7.2. if I load the dayz mod (I have it manually installed using the dayZ/addons folder method) and try to play any Arma II or OA mission, the mission will just freeze to the loading screen. all I can do is alt+f4 go in the arma 2 folder and delete the dayz folder. so if i want to switch between single and multi I have to do this cut/paste process. How can I fix this?

i solved it this way:

go to main menu >expansions > disable @dayz

restart

that's it. no deleting. works.

won't work. it just doesn't let me deselct anything, dayz included.

then I guess you have the -mod=@DayZ in your launch options. Remove that and retry what vinss suggested

thx, this method is working now, anyway it's really annoying that 1.7.2. screwed single player :\

use normal shortcut to start without mods, some mods change things which scew off some scripts in the campaigns .

i suggest getting a soundmod and blastcore mod to play campaigns.
