came across bandit in church, firefight ensued, i clipped him then ran out of ammo, i was bleeding out, he could of finished me, he came over healed me then dropped a 2 m1911 mags and took off. bizarre.

Propably he wasnt 'I wanna be a player killer' but self 'It was selfdefence officer'.

Or he just didn't think of him as a worthy opponent because he ran out of ammo. I'd probably have done the same.

Maybe he was a survivor who had to self defend himself from someone and thus getting bandit skin?

He was trying to regain humanity back,thus killing you was the worst option.He has bandaged you and left,trying to avoid any further contacts with survivors.
