In the mod many people like to team up to improve their chances of survival. however, many people find themselves shooting at one and other out of panic. so i think that there should be a way to create a "team" or "clan" in which friendly fire is disabled. there should also be a way of seeing other members of your "team" or "clan" on your map or gps in order to locate them more efficiently.
