Weapon changing question

Hi folks. Just a quickie.

I've got 3 guns atm, and want to know if there's anyway to change from my equipped assault rifle to my battle rifle in my backpack without having to go to a loot point to do some time consuming swapping dance.

Only reason I say loot point is because I always (no exceptions) lose anything I drop outside of a loot point.

double click the rifle in your backpack... will auto swap the 2 weapons and ammo...

Just leave all the ammo in your main inventory, and you can freely swap any weapon from your backpack to your main.

Selecting the weapon in the backpack and pressing the arrow to the right will swap them, too. Be careful you don't select your equipped weapon and press left, tho, or it'll likely be deleted. Also, if you replace using this method, make sure you have enough space for your current ammo in the backpack, or it too will be deleted.
