I kill the server admin , and when i try to get is gear he kicked me almost 20 times , i cant get hes gear , i think the admins in dayz sud L2P OR LEARN TOO LOOSE , the admin name is DEKEY FROM SERVER LU 83 , remove the admin or its unfair for people u die and loose all !

Well, you should prove this isnt you.. I hate admin abuse, and you should take this report more serious.

If it wasnt you, and you are the only admin. Post a screendump saying you are on day 13.. Then the threadstarter can see, he either is writing the wrong server or misunderstanding something :)..

And to all threadstarters about adminabuse..

Do as i do.. Get Fraps, and let it run then you are approaching a person (pushing F9), or config it to take a screen every 1 or 2 seconds..

Easy.. And then you have the proves to do something about it ! :D

You can't expect the devs to react on words. All should start posting fraps vids or fotos on YouTube.. So we can ban those son of b*****..

Even if you did kill him last week, it would be impossible to obtain a 13 day character in 7 days.

He got the server wrong, He meant LU99.

As for not being allowed to ban for DC/ghosting; I am aware of the rules and have stated many times that I will accept whatever consequences there may be for trying to remove this behaviour from my server. But that's an entirely different conversation.

So to put an end to this thread:

Yep I banned this guy and his 3 friends for DCing in combat and ghosting. I would do it again too. It wasn't so you couldn't get my stuff, I only had shite anyway.

A clarification.

We dont want serverhosters to be the judge & executioneer (banning) due to the fact that it will get misused easily. It's sometimes hard for serverhosters to make a coolheaded decision. I've seen this happen way too often.

If you have solid proof of someone exploiting we ask you to file a ticket at support.dayzmod.com with the proof and we'll look into it.

As always, we cant discuss the outcome of an investigation but would like you all to know that we do take exploiting seriously and will give warnings and eventually bans for repeat offenders.

I'd also like to mention that players who see a serverhost abuse can file a ticket too about this to get a fair thirdparty view. We will either contact the serverhost or take action directly depending on severity of the issue.

Now you take what you will from that but it's quite clear that dcing and server hopping are griefing/exploiting/cheating and if you have evidence to back up your claims they WILL be dealth with.

Yes...and it is quite clear based on that post that they do not want the server admin/hosts doing the banning or kicking for these offenses. They want the people reported so the devs can deal with it.

Ok, so this arguement needs a 'finale' to it.

I'm one of the 3 guys that was with Alentejano, and I will explain everything step by step.

We all started in Cherno and 2 others in Elektro, we made our own ways to somewhere where we could all come together, we got our little group together and started making our way to the Airfield, we stopped at Stary Sobor to get more supplies, when we were getting near to the Airfield, we started walking slowly in the open fields that are next to the Airfield when in a matter of seconds i got shot in the back and instantly died in the open field I quickly communicated with my teammates in TeamSpeak saying that i was shot and killed in a matter of seconds (so far no one is GHOSTING) they all went to prone to look for my ''murderers'' after a few seconds they killed Rush.PT (one of the other 3 in the group), then, there was only Alentejano and MonkPT the only ones who survived the attack, they both went to prone and managed to kill Dekey WHO IMMIDEATLY AFTER GETTING KILLED..KICKED ALENTEJANO BECAUSE HE WAS LOOTING HIS BODY, when Alentejano reloged he KICKED HIM AGAIN and then BANNED MONKPT, RUSH.PT, AND ME for what? Because we killed him and looted his body? Correct me if i'm wrong but one of the rules for having a server is ''YOU CAN ONLY BAN PEOPLE IF THERE'S RACISM OR CHEATING HAPPENING'' none of that happened, NO ONE WENT GHOSTING AND DC/D IN COMBAT, IT WAS FAIR GAME.

Chauz i don't want to offend anyone, but that was an useless post.. both those quotes say that he kicked us while we tried to loot his body so we eventually dc/d from the server, there was no point on being there if he kicked and then banned us from the server, and Dekey no point in having this conversation or you're just out of things to say? You know that's it's your words against our, and no, we can't give you proof, and by the way, when you kicked/banned us WHAT WERE YOU TRYING TO PROTECT THE SERVER FROM?
