I can't play

when ever i join a server it goes to the part you can see who is in the game, then i click ok and it should load my character, but the loading screen goes black with a loading bar and the word Loading under neath and it dosn't move, at first i thought it was just taking along time to load, so i left the room and watched tv and did other stuff, i regularly checked to see if it loaded, but soon i realized it had been almost an hour, i tried over and over on other servers, the same thing happen, is this a problem with the beta pach or my game?

P.S. i use 6 launcher

I've got the same problem. 99% of the servers I go to I get to the Loading screen after "receiving" and creating character...then it just sits there.

I've managed to get on 1 or 2 servers.....but their ping is usually so bad I don't want to actually play there.

I just reinstalled Arma2 and Arma2OA via steam..downloaded the beta patch...reinstlled battleeye...installed dayz. running it via 6 launcher or just through Steam still gets the same results.
