Goose Springsteen 9 Posted April 28, 2012 Hey Guys,I'm not new to the idea that ARMA due to relatively poor optimization/design decisions chugs more than it might otherwise have done. But in this mod I seem to be experiencing pretty bad fps (dropping to the mid 20's occasionally) on normal settings with low AA/AF.My rig is a pretty respectable gaming machine (6970 2gb/i5 2500k @ 4.2Ghz and 8gb of ram).On a tangent I'm also experiencing the occasional frame hang for around half a second to a second now and then with tens of minutes between the occurrences is this just a result of this mods scripts or is there something I can look at doing to resolve the issue? I've already tried flushing the cache. Thanks in advance!:DEdit: I'm running the 3D resolution at 1920 x 1080 is this not advisable - it's just the game looks like ass when it upscales :P! Derranged 2 Posted April 28, 2012 Hello,I am currently running a HD Radeon 6870 and I have to keep the 3D Resolution to the minimum. I know it might spice up the game but it's not always worth forking out another $500 for a 7950.So yeah, the only thing that I can advise for you to do is to lower your 3D Resolution. Also, I have been getting the frame rate freezes for about 1 second "So has my friend".~Derranged

Davo{RS} 2 Posted July 17, 2012 Hi, I had a weird fps drop issue caused by dust in my PC causing the motherboard to overheat. Using an air-duster fixed it.See my post here:http://dayzmod.com/f...ag-spikes-help/
