Amazon copy installation issues.

Recommended Posts

I'm sure you guys have had it up to here with people posting these threads, but no matter what I do I just can't get the shortcut to direct me to the Day Z mod. I put in "-mod=@DayZ" in both the target section of the shortcut's properties and in the target section of the steam shortcut but it always brings up an error message saying the path isn't valid. I'm pretty sure I have all of the files installed correctly, and everything is in Steam/SteamApps/Common/Arma 2-Operation Arrowhead. If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it.

I have the amazon install, try copy and pasting mine exactly into steam:

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2\arma2OA.exe" -mod=@dayz -nosplash

Thanks for the reply. I don't think the code is working though, because the files aren't located there. When I finished installing the game, I tried installing the mod in the Bohemia interactive folder, but the files wouldn't extract. So I extracted them in an identical folder that was on my desktop, which seemed to work. Now that folder that was on my desktop is in Steam/SteamApps/Common.
