damian (DayZ) 0 Posted July 18, 2012 Day 2: Throughout the course of a week a group of nomads (My friends and I) have played on this server. After about two days we had an encounter with a man with a full Gillie suit and a very powerful weapon... After colliding our Sedan with his ATV he jumped off and ejected going about 50mph (or whatever measurement), Then the hacker proceeded to run full speed at my friend and I taking several shots to the head from a M24 and Saw. The man did not die and finished up his run by gunning us down by running right next to us... We thought it may have been lag or such but then later once our bodies were recovered we saw the same hacker in Cherno. He was killing everyone in the town and spawning vehicles for his own pleasure... Thus again the hacker killed me by riding up to me in the woods on a motorcycle and gunning me down... After respawning YET AGAIN I proceeded to my dead body to find the hackers motorcycle laying on the ground... After getting onto this motorcycle I learned that it was invincible... I ran into buildings and fences and it would just fix itself up. That all happened during day 2 of our 5 day stay... Day 5: On the last day of server US 136 we found a blue van (hippy van). After going to a factory to fix some damaged parts my friends and I (a group of about 4) were all turned into Cows. On all of our screens we could see eachother as farm animals and such... We knew this was the beginning of a bad day so we all logged off and came back 5 hours later... Once we got back we were surprised by the fact that our characters WERE SWIMMING UNDER THE GROUND and all of our equipment and backpacks were gone (Due to the water effect of drop rate). I would have posted screenshots on this post but the steam overlay wasn't available and I had no other way of capturing the screen (Prt Scr wasn't working). I wrote this post just so that maybe this server could be watched more carefully for hackers and such because it cost my group many items, 50 cal snipers, coyote backpacks, gps, rangefinders, night vision goggles and such. Strawcrow 10 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) I had something like that take place. My friend has a server and another friend and I were on at the big lake and dam in the north. We all were in teamspeak, but the friend who has the server was not in yet. All at once my friend and I in the server turned into cows, then it looked like we were teleporting to other places so we decided to DC, but before I can, I see an error message that said honeybee. Our other friend was watcing the game console and said everone was DCing. So I assume the whole server was going through the same thing. So he reboots the server, I come in and assume my gear is toast, but hey, I still have it all.... but now it is nightime. I switch on the NVGs and the sky right above is clear but the ground around me, even near my feet, looks foggy. I can not tell where I am at. so I walk slow up a hill and now I see clear and realize I was walking at the bottom of the dam in and under the water. Now that I reach the surface I am swimming.
