What just happened?

Me and a couple of friends were at NW airfield and we notice that the firestation, control tower and a number of industrial buildings have been destroyed.

We assumed someone duped a ton of satchel charges and went crazy. No zombies were spawning so we went to the barracks near the firestation and we all instantly died. I was in a small shed which hadn't been destroyed and my friends were just outside.

Nobody else on the server died just us. Was this a glitch or were hackers destroyed everything in a certain area somehow?

I was inside a building where several Zombies had followed me in but they got jammed up in an inside doorway. They just stood there cycling through their attack animations unable to reach me, I was low on health and bleeding so I took the chance to heal up when all of a sudden the building sort of exploded, the place filled with dust and rubble appeared around me.

Another time I stood up beneath a brick bridge which broke my legs. After I used a morphine, rolled away from the corner and stood up again a mighty explosion went off (no visuals just thunderous audio) and I thought at first we were under attack from hackers....

Seems like buildings and structures are just as glitchy and prone to random behaviour as the zombies themselves!

Buidings also get destroyed when folks hack in planes, helos, etc and bomb the crap out of them....

No shit sherlock, they can also be destroyed by Smoke Grenades, and Satchel Charges.

Hello.

The buildings were already destroyed when we were there. We died instantly. There were no explosions or anything like that.
