Objects' textures are being changed when zoomed, disable that?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

When I view a house, and then zoom, all the objects are changing their textures to be more detailed. What setting should I have to keep the same high quality textures all the time?

Thanks

I am also interested in this. It would seem to be the engine trying to increase frame rates by not loading high quality textures at a distance with such a long draw distance. What are your current settings in game?

My current avg FPS is consistent across all setting combinations so I might as well have good textures on all the time if possible.

Any graphics settings are fine for me, as I have a strong PC.

Visiblity: 10000; Quality preference: Very High

Texture detail: Low

Video Memory: Default

Anisotropic filtering: Disabled

Antialiasing: 8

Terrain Detail: Very Low

Objects Detail: Very High

Shadow Detail: Disabled

HDR Quality: Normal

Postprocess Effects: Disabled

Vsync: Disabled

Thanks!

I would say that ramping up your texture detail and AF setting will most likely help your texture quality at a distance. Play with them a little and see if there is any difference.
