Looking For Server Host

I AM NOT looking for the cheapest server host. I am looking for a solid host with good uptime and fast response time to tickets. I want full control over the game / server (I have seen some people restrict time zones etc). I am currently in contact with one company and I am looking for other options before I purchase. Thanks for your time.

I found a great dedicated server host. Plenty of power and west coast located. www.serversavior.com has a great deal on a Dual L5420 server. I was able to get the price around $50 a month for this box.

I just looked this up and it says the bandwidth is only 10gb a server needs 2TB no?

10gb won't be enough bandwidth at all. You want 2.5-4TB to be safe with a 50 slot server imo. In honesty, it depends how many slots and how often it's full, but for 3 servers we run, we're using 1.5TB a week average. Last week after the update that fixed a lot of the issues we used 2TB.

Fork over the extra money and go dedicated. You won't have to put up with host restrictions and dayz bullshit rule changes. Just get it whitelisted and don't abuse ur privileges.

I have been thinking of doing this and just running 2 servers off 1 box. Still looking for a good place to buy from. I know from my counter strike past that finding a GOOD hosting company is not super easy.

Lack of response to customer tickets other than Sales tickets

Recently locked out control of a lot of Admin functions to include deleting, renaming or anything other than downloading of the log files needed to monitor your server. in 3 days they will grow beyond 500MB and you can't do anything about it. Try opening a 1GB file in notepad when you get there

Can't access ban list to add or remove via the panel

Can't modify scripts.txt to tell the logs what to look for and log

Reps posted previously in threads that thier customers are "Whining bitches" and then had to edit when called out.

That hits the nail on the head. I was interested in HFB because they were the cheapest around and I am sorely sorry I chose them. Dumped them for my own dedicated server and glad I did.

Is there a contact number for HFB? because from what i am reading the admin controls are locked and they told me that i would be able to use them. i have just rented a server from them and no answers to tickets and i cant log into server controls.
