puppetmaster11 229 Posted July 18, 2012 Pulled this off of Reddit this morning not sure if anyone has tried this or has any insight into it but for those of you struggling with fps possibly another trick to tryI'm seeing quite a few posts of people complaining about bad FPS in Day Z, especially in larger towns like Cherno and Elektro. I'm a moderator over on Lirik's stream, and he claims using this custom file boosted his FPS by over 30-40.I can confirm this, having downloaded it myself. Just download the 527b file, and place it in your My Documents/Arma 2 folder, overwriting the ARMA2OA.cfg file. Basically, it sets anti aliasing to 0, but enables FXAA, which gives you the effect of Anti Aliasing on high, but without any FPS drop, along with other various tweaks that will make your game run incredibly well. I did it manually, follow these steps.1) Go to C/documents/ARMA 2 and edit the arma2OA file with notepad.2) At the bottom is the option fxaa=0 change this to one of the values explained in the link above.3) disable antialiasing in the games video settings and match the reolutions to the one you use4) enjoy :D Edited July 18, 2012 by Delta Smoke 01 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
