I saw the article on rockpapershotgun after I had seen other glimps of this mod before, but since I'm not an Arma II "veteran", I didn't really think much of it at first. However after reading forementioned article I decided to give it a go and lay down the small amount to get the combined forces pack, and download the mod..

I must say, this is one of the best experiences I've had online. Players helping each other out, and also the thrill of getting through a zombie infested area while managing to loot some things and get out safely.. just great.

Looking forward to the future of this mod, I'll be playing the alpha in the mean time.

Yeah when it's actually stable this will be my game of choice for a long time to come. I was losing hope in gaming. Steam this, DRM that, POS ports this, linear that. I haven't played much of anything since GTA IV...Playing this was a breath of fresh air. Have had some great time's so far! Can't wait to get back to enjoying it. The map is beautiful! I sometimes just like to explore it. Checking out lakes and hot spots on the map that aren't loot centric.

But with being ported back long distances after spending hours getting there and to do that many, many, many times (it's my fault for playing it as a full fledged game though so w/e). I don't think I'm going to play until its a bit more stable. Maybe with this next build (knock on wood) servers will be stable so I can get back to surviving for long periods of time without the game fucking me. I'm hooked as well so this sucks for me. Hehe.

This the type of game i've been looking for open world zombie sandbox and it ticks all the boxes. One thing i would like him to add is the option to have group spawn so you can spawn with a group of your friends although it would take the suspense of finding friendlies or foes when your looking for them , Lol

Awful idea. See Battlefield BC2 and BF3. If you can just spawn in on your group then PVP will be ruined.

Also, part of this game is meeting up and the adventure to do so. Even if the only time you can respawn in a group is from a fresh respawn, that takes out that initial phase of OMFG I NEED TO GET TO FRIENDLIES ASAP and turns the starting areas into roving gangs of makarov griefers
