Arma II OA stopped working (URGENT :D)

so my friend has this weird bug, he just bought the game and copied my files to his pc.

i also had this bug and fixed it, but on his pc we did every thing i also did and it is still crashing.

EDIT: now is the game doing the same thing for me to,

we have tried removing the battleye dll from appdata, verified steam files of both games, launching without steam, tried diffident patches and it didn't work.

help plzzz

The beta patch messes up your .cfg file which is used by the operation arrowhead non beta, too.

Possible solution: delete Your ArmA2OA.cfg file in my documents" arma folder and start the game it will be replaced by a new one. You will need to set your graphics settings again, but thats not a big trouble.
