Sentaru 1 Posted July 18, 2012 Greetings fellow survivors! I have some ideas that i whish to share with you all about skins. (I apologize for any bad english, english is not my main language)Now on to the ideas regarding skins!Ghillie suit:Ghillie suits are, in real life, hot as hell to wear. Temperatures inside of the ghillie suit can reach over 50 °C (120 °F)! Because of this i suggest that while wearing the Ghillie suit you don't suffer degreeing of body temperature. But because it is so hot to wear, you tend to get a bit more thirsty than normal.A warm hoodie:Wouldn't it nice to a nice warm hoodie when the cold nights and days hit you? A warm hoodie would have a some what common to moderate spwan chance. The warm hoodie would negate temperature loss just as the Ghilie suit, but without the increase of thirst. Though in contrary to the Ghillie suit, hoodies tend to be more colourful and will make you easyer to spot for other players. The zombies won't find it easyer to spot you while wearing the warm hoodie, zombies doesn't simply care.
FanasNize 4 Posted July 18, 2012 I would love if they added those two ideas to the game!
Zeromentor 169 Posted July 18, 2012 I'd love more skins ingame. I don't mind what they pick as long as they add a few more. Also, ghillie suits need to no longer hide backpacks. Either you get the storage of the pack, complete with the easy-to-see pack, or you don't.And where do people get these ghillie suit numbers? Most of the people I've talked to use them nearly naked underneath (with arm/knee pads).
thedog88 180 Posted July 18, 2012 i like the idea of clothing causing overheating or being to cold, therefor adding clothing tostay warmstay drystay concealedstay agilestay "normal" (not everybody has a plate carrier laying at home in case of an emergency^^)would be nice. ghillies can get hot but they are usually bdu's/acu's with some crap hanging off it, so they wouldnt be CRAZY hot, but i agree, a litte qucker thirst would give it that balance.
mike.emig@gmx.de 0 Posted July 18, 2012 What i would like to see is a Screen before spawn (right after male or female) where you can choose your "normal" skin.. i dont like it that it changes everytime i disconnect and log back in..
Howler 12 Posted July 18, 2012 There are a ridiculous (a good ridiculous) amount of skins in Arma 2. I am not sure why the option to chose what skin you join as is not there yet.Seems odd that everyone would be wearing roughly the same thing :blush:But yes, the core idea of temeperature according to clothing is a good idea!
