Run through Steam Crash to Desktop Event Log:

Hello,

If I run my game through Steam my game crashes to desktop, like alot of people here having the same problem.

I have done all the latest updates, I have followed all the latest guides on here to get a fix and none of them has worked so please, save your breathe.

If I run my game through Six Launcher the game works.... But I brought my game in Steam for a reason and I want and need to use the Steam Overlay tool.... So Six Launcher running the game is useless to me.

I have tried both versions of the Battleye files... Updated and the lower version, both give me the same problem!

If you installed six launcher on your box I'd recommend formatting and starting from scratch.

Kyle, try this,

Go here:-

C:\Users\********\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye

And delete the battleeye.dll you find there, restart game, should work, fixed my prob

anyway i got

add nonsteam game

then go to ao.exe and click it then from there right click it rename it to dayz then put target as:

"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" "-mod=C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2;Expansion;ca;@dayz" -nosplash"

and start in as:

"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\"

and yes my formatting is terrible sew me.

Well to me it looked it and with that ridiculous starting comment...

I do not want ti add a none steam game. I want done nice hours with arma which I brought in steam.

I should not have to add a none steam game if I brought it through steam....

Looks to me your

"C:\Users\Kyle\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye\BEClient.dll" has problem so maybe downloading it again and replacing it might fix? (the DLL file ofc)

Already done that. Tried both versions there. Still crashing.

I do not really use Facebook. Have it never use it.
