Issue running hiveauth.exe for server setup

Recommended Posts

Hello! I'm having an issue setting up my server, and I was hoping someone could spare a few minutes to hep me out. I know the development team is super busy.

I've gotten everything setup and configured on the server with some help from Matt H via email, but im having an issue running the hiveauth.exe application. It keeps crashing, with a windows exception error.

It never seems to make a connection to the mysql database. I installed the C++ redist 2008. And also installed 2010 C++ redist for good measure. Still having the issue. The IP I gave to matt for my server is the IP that the dayz server daemon would be listening on. Would you guys also need the IP that the server would be making outgoing mysql connections on, so you can whitelist that as well?
