cant pass loading screen

i downloaded the combined operations from steam and six launcher to play the game it launches and goes into a game but right before the game starts a black screen shows up with a loading bar at the bottom of the screen that doesnt progress and just stays on that screen can anyone help?

1. How old is your computer? You sure your system can handle arma 2 at all?

2. Are you joining a server that is running the same versions you are?

3. Be patient. Sometimes loading takes longer than other times and if the server restarts and alot of ppl are trying to connect it take longer.

I've also been having the same issue. Just give it a while and let it load. It might take longer on servers with higher populations of players.

my computer is new ive already ran a multiplayer game on arma 2 smoothly. yea ive checked and made sure they were compatible with my version of the game. and ive tried multiple servers with out running into one that i can actually play on all with the same problem
