My First Kill

Hey guys, first post, and hopefully more soon to come. Anyways, let's get down to the good stuff :cool:

I was chilling in a Store south of the Mosque in Cherno. Picked up some great loot including an ALICE pack, Winchester, 1911, and tons of essentials. This was all awesome gear to me as I've spent most of my time trying to meet up with a buddy in previous sessions and not obtaining much loot in the process.

Anyways, I was grabbing some Winchester ammo when I started to hear some lowly Makarov fire to my South. I peaked out for a closer look to find a Survivor slaying Zeds from behind a house. I decided I'd pop him in the moment of combat from the store entrace. Bad idea. Somehow the glass was glitched over the entrance and I couldn't fire out. Took aggro from all Zeds in the area and killed 19 without losing a single point of blood. No more activity and I continue grabbing and organizing loot without thought.

To my surprise, I hear more shots. I back up slowly into the corner of the store and drop prone. Here comes "Tim" bumbling through the room I'm in, doesn't even check the room and IMMEDIATELY begins looting. I sight in, heart racing to take my first kill. Aimed dead on the head. Fire! Alas, I hit right on his shoulder. Surely he couldn't exit the menu fast enough as I follow up right on point for the kill.

I slowly pace up to loot his body, no enemies in sight. Grabbed myself a map, binoculars, and either a watch or compass. (Can't remember) Immediate rage ensues on the chat and I enjoyed the lols very much. It's great adorning a Bandit skin and I hope to have some much better stories ahead. Sorry if this was bit TL;DR and anti-climatic but I am very, very stoked on DayZ. Best mod I've played since PR!:D
