Terrible Screen Lag

I'm not sure what's going on, but just today, for what seems like no reason whatsoever, DayZ started lagging for me. Terribly.

It's like every step or two, my screen freezes for half a sec. It freezes when I'm not moving too, so it's like every half a sec there's a brief screen freeze. Happens even when I'm in the esc tab and just messing with the options or whatever.

Maybe it's a new patch, but I didn't see my six launcher update or anything today. I don't understand why this is happening at all, but if anyone else has the same problem or knows what might be causing this and how to fix it, then please help me out!

I've had the same exact problem. Mine happened right as I started talking with people on Skype and it hasn't gotten better when I got off Skype.
